This is obviously very Freudian -- a deep-down burning desire to travel to the ends of the Earth and visit Kyoto.

I've found my dreams mirror real life. If I'm dreaming about someone I usually speak Spanish with, that'll be the language of the dream. The same happens with English and Catalan. It seems that my brain has everyone compartmentalized and that's it. | | | |

I was born and raised in Denmark and live here rignt now, so I'm labelled native Danish speaker.
However, we speak English at home and I dream in English most of the time.

... In Thailand I dream in Thai most of the time and the same goes for Vietnamese, when I am in Vietnam. When I was in the UK, my dreams were mostly in English, too. Once I also found myself speaking Vietnamese with a strong Southern accent in a dream, though I normally only speak in standard (Northern) Vietnamese and find it difficult to imitate a Southern accent when I am awake. In Germany, however, my dreams are almost always in German. It's always the same - after a few days in another count... See more ... It happens sometimes I dream in Spanish, usually because the charcters of the dreams are me and my realatives who speak only Spanish.
The best was when I dreamt my unlce became the Presindent od the USA, and we celebrated the election with a barbecue in the White House garden. 
If I think something I always "do" in Spanish... is counting cash<... See more in Chile, but I grew up and studied in Italy, where I live.
