I've kept a diary with brief entries for 30 years - few profound musings. Since January, I've been musing in my blog: www.livingmyinvinciblesummer.com.
A long time ago, I did keep an exhaustive journal for a year or so, which turned out to be the basis for my recent book: "Finding My Invincible Summer." I write once a week, every Sunday, in my journal, almost always work related. It helps me remember that I've been through worse problems than the ones that I'm facing now and I really like seeing how much my wife and I's businesses have grown.
I'm sure that this Sunday's entry will be written in HTML, since I'm dreaming in it now. On the plus side, my profile looks cooler!
and why?
If I have any time, then there are many other things which are far more important - Family!

Not on a daily basis though ... and not necessarily related to translation work.
But whenever I think of or hear or read something I don't want to forget or want to use for research or in articles I plan to write (one of my hobbies is freelance journalism). | | | | | | Thayenga Германија Local time: 14:47 Член (2009) англиски на германски + ...

I simply wouldn't know where to find the time
I know some people love it, but I'm not called to keep a diary or journal. At times I have kept a book of doodles/drawings or quotes I like, though.
PS This one is cool:

It would just feel like another task on my to-do list. If I was going to do something else work-related with that time, I'd rather spend it doing more detailed project record keeping/analysis, add more terms to my termbase, clean up my TM etc. | | | | | Yes, blogs - 6 of them, 5 in Hindi 1 in English | Jul 10, 2013 |

I started my blogs because I like creative writing a lot and translation somehow did not satisfy this need. I used to write a post a day on all my five Hindi blogs. The English one was less active.
Here is the main one, Jaihindi (http://jaihindi.blogspot.in/), which is my hold-all blog in which I write on anything under the sun. It comes closest to my diary, but it is not written in a diary style. It is more a collection of the various types of writings I have done so far. It is also the first blog I started. It currently have 69 followers, who all are pretty miffed with me for I haven't written anything for a long time.
One of these blogs, Keralpuran (http://keralpuran.blogspot.in/), is connected with translation for in it I am publishing the translation I have done of a Malayalam classic into Hindi. These are a collection of folk stories of Kerala and are very gripping to read. They cover every aspect of Kerala culture - history, legends, heroes, temples, elephants (yes elephants (tame) form a crucial aspect of Kerala culture), buffoons, warriors, ghosts, gods and goddesses, kings and even cooks and medicine men.
One blog, printf-scanf, (http://printf-scanf.blogspot.in/) is a tutorial in Hindi of the computer language C. I started this blog with great ambition of filling it up with tutorials on C++, HTML, Java, and other computer languages, but never progressed beyond C.
Bal Jaihindi, (http://baljaihindi.blogspot.in/) is my children's blog.
Kudaratnama, (http://kudaratnama.blogspot.in/) is a blog on nature, environment and wildlife.
Jaihindi Magazine (http://jaihindimagazine.blogspot.in/) is my English blog.
I still hope to someday revive all my blogs, and even begin new ones. For example, one purely devoted to translation. There are several good blogs on translation in English, but few in Hindi, so if I begin one in Hindi, it would be a useful contribution to Hindi translators.
Let us see.

I keep a personal journal with some regularity.
