I'll answer emails until quite late on a night (i.e. up until going to bed - which is when I often fire off final emails to US-based clients), but other than that...

All my clients are in the same European Paris/Madrid time zone.

But if I had to for certain projects, then why not?
But I do sometimes accommodate clients on a different planet
| Why should I? | Jul 14, 2015 |
I'd have pressure to do it if I were interpreting by phone. Otherwise they have no point in requiring that I be online or working on their project at any specific time of the day.
If I should be sleeping on the deadline, I don't think they'll mind if I deliver earlier.

Some of my best clients are based in the US, which gradually has influenced my daily schedule:
I often do private business like going to the gym, hairdresser, shopping etc. in the mornings while I work afternoon and nights.
But I don't mind, in fact, I quite like it that way,
as long as no one takes it for granted that I am available even at midnight.

In my case it would mean working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, plus holidays.
No, thank you. | | | |

I'll stay up late to finish something for a deadline in Europe or Asia, but that's about it.
In fact, more often than not I turn down jobs because the CET deadlines make it impossible!

This is a huge factor I've found from experience.
I wouldn't mind working at any time but since I'm human, I do get tired
and require sleep.
Nevertheless, I have worked late into the night and done all nighters on occasion.

Live in a GMT+8 zone means I can go to sleep and still have enough time for my work.
However, sometimes, I work till late night so that the following day is pressureless.
