Slightly less this year. One client sent me a small job on the 29th of December, but he forgot to attach the file

For me the run up to the end of the year is my busiest time. I got offered a lot of work over the holidays and could have booked my available time several times over with agencies who were desperate to place last minute projects.

Yes but that's because I make it so. I like/need to take some time off once in a while, keep in touch with friends, read, do a little sewing, and generally take my mind off work.

Not at the end of the year, since many people start refusing jobs as of the 20th od December (more or less) and I don't. But in January and part of February, the dynamics seem to be a lot slower.
