The one I'm on just now, my main PC, is not too bad, because I turned the keyboard upside down and gave it a tap the other day and a lot of dust and stuff fell out. However, on the backup computer, which I was using yesterday because it's the one I use for working on Excel files, is pretty filthy and I really must give it a clean. Yesterday's job was mostly clicking or dictating, so I wasn't paying much attention to the keyboard, but every time I did, I thought that I must get this cleaned ASAP.... It is pristine. Everything in my house and workplace has to be in perfect order and extremely clean. I hate a dirty and messy environment around me, even my machines.

Mine is a wired Apple Extended Italian Keyboard (rather difficult to find these days) protected by a translucent keyboard cover that fits as tightly as a glove and is easy to wipe when the necessity arises.
I have programmed the seven small F keys along the top right to instantly launch the applications I use most frequently (email, Firefox, BusyCal, Spotify, etc.) without needing to go looking for them or clicking on them. One touch of the key and they open! I use this https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/10879/one-key

Cleaning aside, many of the letters on the keys of one of my laptops have almost totally disappeared, due to almost daily, constant use/tapping away.

It looks pretty clean, although some letters, especially e and s, are no longer marked. Good thing I know where they are.

Thanks to periodic drenching with tea, it is at least marginally cleaner than the one at the local garage.
Anyway, you know what they say: clean keyboard, dirty mind...

No time to gather dust if it is being used (and the laptop lid is closed when the computer is not in use). Chiclet keyboard keys, so easy to clean externally once in a while/when visibly requiring a sweep.

In the past I rarely thought about cleaning my keyboard, but since COVID it's part of my daily home disinfecting. I figure I touch it probably more than anything else in my home!

I hate dirty keyboard(s). I have
three keyboards with three different layouts. The Croatian QUERTZ, the French AZERTY and the standard English QUERTY. I clean them on a regular basis but with the Corona situation, I wash my hands much more often ,so the keyboards are in pristine conditon lately. Even cleaner that they use to be.😊
