I'm quite happy with my method as it seems to be working well enough. I’m so used to it that I wouldn’t dream of changing it. I abide by the rule "Don't fix it if it ain't broken".

My method of project management is a simple calendar where I enter deadlines and word counts, that's all I need to see if I have room for more or should decline more work. I could say that I am deliriously happy with this but in fact my emotion level is rather low about this, so I chose "indifferent".

I'm quite happy, and I have all the information I need, and more. However, I still have several different spreadsheets and not everything is automated. I'm feeding a database for that purpose, but I haven't had time to compile it all in the same place, yet.

Excel spreadsheet:
- Customer
- Project (PO)
- Language combos
- Delivery term
- Month
- File name
- File format
- No. of words
- Rate per word
- Total
- State of progress
- CAT used

Every month gets its own spreadsheet.
