For me it's breakfast as I rarely eat after 5 pm, so when I get up in the morning I'm starving.
P.S. I'm aware that some of you don't like this kind of questions, so please spare me...

Probably lunch, my afternoon meal (Spanish time, around 2-3 PM) when I'm working. But if dining out, it would be the evening meal.

A. That would depend entirely on the quality of the meal.
I'm not sure how relevant this question is for translators.

Portuguese and not eating after 5pm?  (I just had to translate something about Finnish people in Portugal struggling to have dinner before 8pm, so here's relevance for translation)
I like breakfast, but it is always the same, except weekends and holidays when I try to make it more special. Lunch is more like a snack, I usually just have a wrap or sandwich and then back to business (work or other). That leaves dinner as the only meal I actually have to think about and which I would also enjoy most as the most relaxed if I had some more talent for cooking and what I've made would more often resemble what I had in mind... (writing this after another rather disappointing dinner coming out of my kitchen)

Well, I lived in Belgium for 30 years and got into the habit of “dining” early. I also lunch around noon, what to most of my compatriots is a… sin!
Finding a restaurant open for lunch at noon and for dinner before 8 pm is indeed very difficult here.

Though honestly I like every meal; you'll never catch me exclaiming, "Oh, I completely forgot about lunch!"

Relevant or irrelevant, what drove this question; why and how did it come to mind in the first place and what can we all learn from it? Or is it just for a small talk, like in the nail salon?
I was tempted to answer "free" but that's kinda tacky...
