As I said last year when the same question was asked: I do fine without. My smartphone is not a working tool!

It is an easier way to read colleagues' opinions, blogs, and KudoZ questions and answers. It is also really useful to read job announcements in the app. I do a similar thing with my Fiverr, Upwork, Indeed, and Glassdoor accounts.
On the other hand, it has to be user-friendly, visually attractive, and functional. In some cases, companies have failed to create an app for not including these things.

Don't have a smartphone. I now use a Nokia dumbphone.
P.S. Shouldn't ProZ.com try to fix their website first before they consider making a smartphone app? Priorities, fellas!

Not everything needs to be an app. Most of them are just a data grab anyway. Though it would be nice if ProZ could a) finally fix their desktop website and b) optimize it for mobile.

I am trying to minimize the number of apps on my phone and in my life.
Will ProZ mobile app offer some decent jobs, as the desktop version certainly doesn’t?

Like to quickly look up a word or maybe for job postings or for kudoz questions. Even for these crazy polls . The only problem with having more apps on your phone that are work-related is that there is no opportunity to 'switch off' from work, but I suppose that is a user problem and not the problem of the creator of the app!

There used to be a ProZ mobile app in the past, and I had it installed on a previous smartphone. I didn't use it much, but it was functional. Though I think that happened at the time when the website version itself worked better...
