Here we have an extremely ironic question in a year when work has been scarce or at least extremely irregular (as it happens, I am currently swamped with work). Since burnout can be linked to depression, perhaps that is the reason behind the question, and it is referring to burnout due to lack of work...

It might be less ironic than you think. People working for ridiculous rates might work themselves to death to earn enough.

Some people might consider the poll question a bit intrusive. Maybe it is so to wake us up.
According to the WHO:
“Burn-out is a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed. It is characterized by three dimensions:
- feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion;

The WHO entry continues:

Burn-out was also included in ICD-10, in the same category as in ICD-11, but the definition is now more detailed.
The World Health Organization is about to embark on the development of evidence-based guidelines on mental well-being in the workplace.”

I think that it was because I am more aware of the things that make me feel stressed and anxious. One of them, working really hard to get some money.
I try to study and meeting clients that can pay my rates for my quality services without working so hard to get some money.
Another reason, I love what I am doing, I am a language teacher by heart with many creative ideas to give my classes.
