Occasionally I get more projects in summer, because my peers take summer vacations and I don’t…

We had been busy in July too, as the agency did not close over the summer. The economy was picking up after a slump, and clients planned to start up at full speed after the industrial holiday.
That was in the last century, but the pattern was the same for many years. It swings, however, and it depends on the subject area, too. Some years I have even picked up new clients if I worked while others were taking a break. Some years I took a break myself.
Recently work has gone from quiet to even quieter, and jobs are few and small, but this year the situation seems to be the same over the summer. ▲ Collapse
