It may be helpful in certain areas that deal with large-scale datasets, but what will happen when AI hallucinates? I also wonder what will happen if the AI bubble bursts ? It may never burst — what if it does?

NO! Oct 3, 2025

The main duties of a state are internal security and infrastructure. We already pay enough taxes without these two core responsibilities being fulfilled.

to what purpose? Oct 3, 2025

To get advice on how to do suicide? (like already happened)
For full control over the citizens? (like in China)
To create deepfakes?
For annoying customer support?
[add any other AI (which AI?) use here.]

They could, but it is not a must! Oct 3, 2025

I think that any technological advancement is neutral. It is the way that we use it that can destroy us or allow us to grow. My hope is that we use it for common good and stability.

This involves government contractors most of the time, but payment for all that always comes from the citizens' pockets.

And I remember reading about severe problems with AI-based facial recognition software used by police forces, due to AI biases against black/brown people or diverse gender people. This confirms police departments are using AI too, and wasting citizens' money on lawsuits because of false arrests.

So there's already enough citizens' money wasted on AI failures and not enough on education, health, and more essential services.
Please, cut it out with this . stupid AI questions.

[Edited] So I deleted the F-word due to "offensive language." In fact, IMHO, the only offensive language here is the extension of the AI hype expressed consistently in the silly polls hammered on a daily basis.

Since translation jobs as we used to know them are dead, since rates have plummeted, and since there are several topics/comments from *human* translators worried about their downfall in income, is it really necessary to use the polls to keep up the AI hype? What's the gain?
