What vetting? What staff?
Because they are US agency subcontractors or their assistant or similar. Or a US company outsourced this recruitment work to them, because their work is cheaper than what recruiters in the US charge.

Why would anyone in need of a translator or interpreter that must be based in USA use at all the services of an agency based outside of USA?
As much I can keep scratching my head, I can't find any explanations that could even charitably be labelled as 'positive' ...
Whenever I see an agency not from Serbia looking for translators not into/from any of their local languages it does not smell of roses to me. | | |

Could it be that if the applicant works remotely from the USA, the Asia/Mid-East LSPs save on paying working taxes in their location? | | | |
