I really wonder why this question appear very often.
It obviously involves massive security risk in the first place and a potential competitor for ProZ services for end customers.

Given the insistence, maybe they come all from the same user (all members can propose polls), and given the lack of other proposals, the series continues.
So my suggestion is: propose polls, folks! You'll find the option when displaying the results of a poll (right hand).
As for the poll topics, since this is a feature for fun, I don't mind if it is about how many unpaired socks you have and the like.

A lot of AI questions indeed. But let's not forget that there are probably a lot of translators that are genuinely interested in everything AI might offer.
I already told here that Proz has become an echo chamber. The aversion to everything AI displayed so elaborately here by eventually very few people doesn't necessarily and probably doesn't reflect reality.

As far as the poll question is concerned: I use Gemini integrated in the Google search engine, but I wouldn't know which model that is. On a side note: by using AI more often for research purposes I've become way better and faster at it, i.e. better at prompting and faster at judging whether the AI answers are any good. I’m aware that members can propose polls. Over the years, I have suggested a few, some have passed the vetting by staff and been posted, others not. AFAIK, when it’s suggested by a member his/her name appears at the left bottom of the page. The AI series has been created by Proz staff.

Not necessarily. You can choose to submit a question anonymously.

You’re right, but I can’t remember seeing an anonymous one. In this case, does it appear as posted by Proz staff?

...but will probably be forced to use it once they replace Google Assistant (which is also why I dread updating my Android).
As for Google Search, I always make sure to add "-ai" to my queries because I don't even want it to generate its sloppy summary for me.
