I’ve never used AI knowingly. Besides that, in my opinion, this is a question with no answer, because it’s obvious that if someone uses ChatGPT (or something similar) to translate a text, they won’t tell the client they’ve done so.

It is fine to use AI when the clients just want a translation for texts that have not legal repercussions or affect patients confidentiality, such as blog posts, lifestyle articles, and recipes, among others. You might mention that you use AI, but it is not needed. Otherwise, if it is a legal or medical document that can be disclosed by AI, you have to mention that you only use AI tools respecting the confidentiality and liability of your clients.

I had a client that hired me for a project with automotive theme. Than it turned into translating marketing such as banners and law such as website policy.
What should i do? Therefore i used AI and translating tools without saying...

Unless an NDA or client agreement explicitly states otherwise, the process I use is my prerogative. I am hired for the final translation, and I assume full ownership and responsibility for the work delivered.

Is it ethical to use AI whether you disclose it or not?
I would say it is not.
AI exploits the fruits of other people’s labours, and you are helping to destroy your colleagues’ livelihood and being a lazy money-grabbing weasel by not bothering to use your own brain.

I would say it is not.

Nothing.
What wasn't there in the first place is still not there. If it was there, it's not gone anywhere. Clearly for some translators, AI or no AI, 'it's just a job' - to be expedited as quickly as possible.
IF AI is used as some kind of cheap and dirty 'quick fix' - as I would think is the underlying assumption behind this poll question - that can not be 'ethical' whichever way you twist it.
OTOH if you would use AI not to 'translate' but as one of various sources available to get a better understanding of the ST, that would be a different story.
Personally I would avoid using AI even for that purpose, as the more or less guaranteed random and difficult to detect hallucinations would make it a waste of time. If you have some work ethics (or call it love and passion for the art) you would STILL need to check for yourself everything AI said - so I can't see any possible gain.
