Yes! "Pley steichon" is a made up spelling in Spanish that resembles how one would pronounce "Play station".

Ha!

I wonder how many Spanish speakers could understand the sign.

No, I think that all that's necessary is live in the River Plate area or thereabouts...

That's how it should be written so that less literate Brazilians will read and pronounce something close to "tupperware". Otherwise it will come out like toopairvair.
