OmegaT 3.5 is the new Latest version of OmegaT.

Compared with 3.4, 3.5 brings 18 enhancements and 4 bug corrections.

The Mac package was improved, to provide a more native experience. The Mac version now requires to be compatible with Java 1.8, which is provided in the package. For versions of Mac OS X not compatible with Java 1.8, it is still possible to use the cross-platform (“Without JRE”) version.

It is now easier to set running parameters in the Mac version, as it done in a .properties file, similarly to what is available under Windows.

It is now possible to drag and drop a project file or a project folder to open it in OmegaT. The .project extension can be assigned to OmegaT to open projects directly. It’s also possible to drag and drop various files to the OmegaT panes. Dragging files to the Editor will copy them to the source folder of the current project. Dragging glossary files to the Glossary pane and TMX files to the Fuzzy Matches pane will copy files respectively to the glossary and tm folder.

A number of improvements were done in the Search window.
Searched expressions are now highlighted in the Editor when coming from the Search window. It is also possible to enter glossary entries directly. Go to next/previous segment with key shortcuts work in the Search result window just like in the Editor.
There are two new search options at the bottom of the Search window.
"Auto-sync with Editor". If checked, the Editor will go automatically to the segment where the cursor is located in the search window. "Back to the initial segment on close". If checked, the Editor will go back to the segment being current before the Search window was opened.

It is now possible to get fewer results from glossaries with new options in Options > Glossary: Use terms appearing separately in the source text and Use stemming for glossary entries.

The Quality Assurance script can now include LanguageTool results.

The Dutch, Russian, Belarusian and Japanese localisations were updated.

You can download the new version following the directions from
