I just noticed that my 'years of translation experience' under the 'experience' section of the profile was still at the number I set it at when I joined in Proz in 2006. I didnt' realize you would have to increment it manually every year; I'm surprised it doesn't update automatically. This seems like something that could and should be changed.

You're quite right, both that it doesn't update and that it should!

Why would anyone expect their personal data to be updated by a networking portal. Seriously. That's a different kind of service, so please leave ProZ.com alone.

but for some reason I never noticed the years of translation experience failing to increase. I must admit it surprises me now that I didn't notice it, but that is rather the point of my post.
