I need to count Thai characters from a PDF file. After some research on the Internet, I tried to use programs like CountAnything, Translator's Abacus, Freebudget 4 and few more but without success. Either word counts equals 0 or the file cannot be read...
Does anyone have any experience in this? How can it be done? Is there a way to convert PDF in Thai to Word so I could use character count option in Word's preferences?
Thanks for any suggestions and help.

You can try to convert the PDF to Word file by using Abbyy FineReader. It should work, but the result also depends on the quality of the original PDF file.
